Limited Solid Copper Crosses

$45.00
Only 4 available

Limited Hand-Forged, Solid Copper Keychain Cross.

Limited, as I won’t be making these very often, they’re quite a bit more labor intensive than my other crosses.

Each one of these solid copper, pocket-sized crossed starts as copper scraps which are then smelted into billets and then forged into copper bar stock. From there, I follow my normal forging process to make the cross. Each is hand-forged, giving old material a second life and left with visible hammer marks that show the work behind it.

Solid copper has a warm tone that will darken and change over time, developing a natural patina as it’s carried. No two of these are exactly alike, each cross reflects the hand that made it and the patina will reflect the life it’s carried through.

Sized to carry comfortably as a keychain or wear as a large necklace, this cross is meant to be kept close. It’s a simple reminder of faith, redemption, and endurance, how something worn and used can be re-shaped into something meaningful. Finished with a leather thong and steel split ring.

Two styles, hammer textured and Celtic. The Celtic style has flare-forged ends while the hammered has a light-catching, hammer textured pattern
